AISECT : Strengthening Women Empowerment

Since its inception in 1985, AISECT , which is India’s leading education, skill development, services and e-governance network, has been untiringly reaching out to the remotest corners of the country with the objective of empowering, educating and creating entrepreneurial opportunities for the underprivileged. With over 23,000 centres spread across the length and breadth of the country, the Group has initiated several activities with the aim of building an inclusive society. With few such initiatives focusing on uplifting the status of women in the semi-urban and rural India, empowering women has been a core focus area of AISECT since the very beginning. With about 50% of the workforce comprising of women employees and around 2000 AISECT centres being run by women entrepreneurs, AISECT has been a staunch supporter of women entrepreneurship.
